The Nomad-ADV Scout tower has been in the making for 2 years, as it had to be a worthy addition to our well known rally navigation tower. Two years of designing, focussing on every little detail, machining and extensive testing on a variety of bikes and in all sorts of conditions. It’s the only navigation tower on the market which has the wiring enclosed rather than the dangling mess we’ve seen elsewhere. It’s also the only navigation tower with a fully adjustable screen, not only in height but also in tilt(!) and we have two screen options as well.

Strength and flexibility
To achieve maximum strength and rigidity it’s not made from plastic… and not even from aluminium panels, but fully machined from high quality billet aluminium blocks. The result is a tower that is extremely light at only 1.6kg, but also incredibly strong and robust, easy to work on and fully adaptable to your riding. We have two screen options, an Enduro and a Travel screen (60mm height difference). Each screen can be adjusted in height by 60mm as well, giving a total range of adjustability of 120mm between the two screens. But up and down adjustment is only part of the story, to find your perfect setting the screen can be tilt adjusted too! And to avoid rattling screens or slipping adjustment, 4 bolts lock it securely in place once the adjustment is done. |

Wiring
Wiring is often the ‘forgotten’ part of a navigation tower. It’s mostly just found dangling on the outside, open to the elements and vulnerable. Yet even small damage to the wiring will stop your bike and ruin your trip! Which is why the Nomad-ADV Scout has the wiring fully enclosed, protected from the elements and debris. Two large and easy access panels, one on each side, allow full access to the wiring. The panels are fitted with proper bolts (stainless) and are standard KTM Torx. So no locks to rattle apart, or blocked by dust, yet full access and full protection. We also have the option for a proper key ignition (the bike can’t be started, nor can it be push started, without the key). Quality As we know first hand that out on the trail, in the desert or in remote rocky terrain, you need to be able to depend on your equipment, we’ve made the Scout tower extremely strong. To further ensure it all works as intended, and keeps doing so for years to come, we’ve machined each part of the tower from high quality billet aluminium blocks. Aluminium blocks which come to us direct from a European smelter. The threads are formed rather than cut, to give the strongest possible threads. |
