Chris took his Husqvarna 701 with Nomad tower from the UK to Romania via the Trans European Trail. An amazing journey with equally amazing photos. Chris inevitably crash tested the tower as well as he took it over some serious terrain and wrote “I don't think there is another version which does precisely what I want at an equivalent price”

“So from day one I liked the look of the Nomad rally tower. I saw a few others in person that clamped the frame or went in the headset cups. Duh, the bosses are right on the frame! It’s lightweight, the instructions have the real gotchas laid out. Mike is super helpful and thorough with any questions. The Vision X Dura lights are PLENTY bright. I have low, high, super high thanks to Mike’s recommendation 1amp draw on the low beam is amazing. No buffeting. Stand up visibility is great. Adding rally blitz buttons and an iPad roadbook soon. Cable routing to avoid chafing didn’t take much thought. The brake and Speedo cables work great. And coming down from hard wheelies nothing moves. First ride I felt like it was the bike it was meant to be.
