A high quality low mudguard/fender for the Husqvarna FE models
Based on the tried and tested KTM 990 mudguard/fender, with a small modification and our own Nomad-ADV adapter. The adapter is made from 5 mm aluminium giving a very solid low fender conversion! Simply bolt on, nothing more to spend.
Why a low mudguard/fender? Better cooling as the radiator is no longer obscured by the original mudguard/fender, more stability at highway speeds and of course it looks much better!
Why not a carbon/kevlar front mudguard? Very simple, they are too expensive and their quality is at best unknown. Safety wise it didn't make any sense either as carbon shatters on impact with very sharp edges. That's why we opted for the KTM 990 front mudguard/fender, which is a tried and tested product for about half the outlay of the carbon/kevlar versions we found. Plus it comes pre-painted and is available worldwide.
